Mommy's Helper!

Parker is quite the nosy, has to be to into anything and everything kind of boy. No surprise there. So, in order for me to get anything done, I have to keep him occupied in the general vicinity. For instance he is terrified of the vacuum cleaner, so I have to carry him while I vacuum. (Great for exercise, not so great for my back.) So when folding laundry you must make sure that Parker feels included. After all, who couldn't use a little bit of help.

Biter Biscuits.

Parker fed himself for the first time today. It was so stinking cute that I couldn't wait one more day to share this delightful pictures with everyone... so maybe I will skip tomorrow? I doubt it.

Parker's 1st Haircut!

We got Parker's haircut last night for the very first time! No one told me this would be a sad moment..He looks so grown up now. That could very well all be in my head..He sat SOOOO still and for those of you who know him, know that he is a super busy boy..I think he rather enjoyed it and when he was done they gave him his first comb to brush his hair with chew on!

Happy 7 Months Monkey!

Today is Parker's 7 month mark. I can't believe he is pushing the big one year. Holy cow, I don't even know where it has gone. He is quite the active little boy, as always. He is pulling up good now, mostly on his rocking chair, but we will take it as it comes. What are we getting him for his 7 month? Why, baby gates of course. Don't you think he will be so happy!? He drinks well out of his sippy cup. He gets at an ounce of juice mixed with three ounces water, because mommy is uptight. His feeding schedule is he eats 30 ounces a day and oatmeal and a fruit for breakfast, veggie and the rest of the fruit for lunch, rice cereal and a dinner for supper. He has two teeth, and I do believe he is working on getting new ones. He can say mama discriminately!!! That means MAMA was his first word! His sense of humor is starting to show..he thinks he is quite entertaining. Here are some pictures from this past month and I will continue with videos tomorrow.

Videos...

This is a video of Parker swimming..I think it was Wednesday of this week. I am horrible with days since I don't ever really need to know the day of the week. As some of you know, he is quite the swimmer and loves anything to do with water or being outside.

This is of him and Daddy playing video games..I think it is so sweet how Parker is laying on him..Parker NEVER sits still of cooperates in the least.

This one was made yesterday. He had pulled up on his rocking chair and was pushing it around the living room. I didn't get that on video but I was hoping he would repeat the stunt and he didn't but I still think this is pretty funny/cute.

This one is funny. We got him Yogurt Melts and he HATES them..they kind of have a tang to them so I understand but still funny faces a plenty.

This is how Parker likes to play with his bouncy seat, minus the seat.

Zoo!

This past Saturday, at least that is what day I think it was, we took Parker to the zoo. He had been once before but it was a random trip , and I did not prepare. It was extremely hot, possibly too hot to have the man child outside. Parker's favorites were the penguins and the lions. He did not think much of the other kids at all, and I didn't think much of the other kids touching him. Lets just say that I did pour sanitizer on him and rub him down. There are a ton of pictures I will try to put them all in one post but I may make two. Tomorrow will be a whole thing of videos because I am too far behind to do them once a week.

Nicko tried to convince me this was a proper way to carry our child on asphalt.

Nicko also wanted me to take pictures of him"being a daddy" to show everyone...that he is a daddy in case they didn't get the update...pushing stroller = good daddy.

Nicko and Parker chased peacocks.

Parker is overly fond of his stroller.

The rest are more or less random.
